JESSE KNOLL, Denver Zoo

“Hi, I’m Jesse Knoll, an Animal Care Specialist at the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance. I’ve been working in animal care for over 13 years, with the past five and a half as part of the Denver team. My career started with two internships—one in education and one in animal care—which led to my first full-time keeper position. Since then, I’ve worked at five different zoos across four states, gaining hands-on experience, building lasting connections, and growing my passion for wildlife care and conservation. The journey to Denver has been an adventure, and I’d love to share my story with your club!”

Junior Giraffe Club member SOPHIE COWARD attended her first get together back in January 2022! She is a big fan of Anne Innis Dagg and had corresponded with her by email. We’ll learn more about Sophie and her special connection to Anne.
