If you’d like to help out with plans for World Giraffe Week, please reach out to Mary Dagg. We’re always looking for members to participate, whether that’s drawing pictures, providing photos of giraffes, creating ideas for WGW or helping with in our in-person activities. We’d love to hear from you!
World Giraffe Week 2025
Junior Giraffe Club members as well as our volunteers and supporters of the Anne Innis Dagg Foundation joined us in celebrating World Giraffe Week at the Toronto Zoo. Thank you to the zoo staff for joining in the festivities with their awesome ossicones and wealth of knowledge! Long live giraffes!
World Giraffe Week 2024
It was an extra special World Giraffe Week at the Toronto Zoo! Artist Lara Hunstman presented her beautiful painting of Anne, which was hung up at the indoor giraffe enclosure at the zoo. Thank you to our volunteers for all of their help - especially with making so many origami giraffe!

World Giraffe Week 2022
Thank you to everyone who was able to celebrate World Giraffe Week (WGW) 2022!! We hope you enjoyed the amazing Giraffe Zone, which is still jam-packed with giraffe facts and fun. Anne Innis Dagg was so pleased to celebrate WGW with some of our awesome Junior Giraffe Club members at the Toronto Zoo and her giraffe zookeeper friends, Jason Pootalal and Amy Gerditschke.
