World Giraffe Week 2026
Thank you to the Toronto Zoo and our wonderful volunteers for helping to celebrate World Giraffe Day at the Toronto Zoo! Participants learned about the Toronto Zoo’s Guardians of Giraffes, met zoo volunteers, and were able to do crafts, activities and touch tables! It was a perfect way to end World Giraffe Week 2026!

Junior Giraffe Club members as well as our volunteers and supporters of the Anne Innis Dagg Foundation joined us in celebrating World Giraffe Day at the Toronto Zoo - a wonderful wrap up to World Giraffe Week! Thank you to the zoo staff for joining in the festivities with their awesome ossicones and wealth of knowledge! Long live giraffes!
World Giraffe Week 2024
It was an extra special World Giraffe Week at the Toronto Zoo! Artist Lara Hunstman presented her beautiful painting of Anne, which was hung up at the indoor giraffe enclosure at the zoo. Thank you to our volunteers for all of their help - especially with making so many origami giraffe!

World Giraffe Week 2022
Thank you to everyone who was able to celebrate World Giraffe Week (WGW) 2022!! We hope you enjoyed the amazing Giraffe Zone, which is still jam-packed with giraffe facts and fun.
