Join us for an exciting session where DARIUS ROSE, MSc Zoology, University of Guelph, will share his research from his time in South Africa’s Gondwana Game Reserve! He studied how large plant-eating animals share their food. He wanted to know: do bigger animals eat a wider variety of plants? Do animals that are closely related eat different kinds of plants so they don’t compete too much? He’ll tell us what he found out when he joins us on October 18th!
Also, JESSICA GRANWEILER returns with an update on her fascinating giraffe study. Earlier this year, she told us about her research on how giraffes handle hills. Are they happier on flat land or can they manage steeper slopes? Jessica will share more of her research with us.
Come join the herd for fun facts, cool stories and celebrate megaherbivores with us!
